Recently an online survey on several controversial topics launched by Scooop.net, a media website, delivered the results of the poll on the legalization of online gambling. The results reveal the attitudes of most Americans that Internet gambling should be legalized in U.S.
The newly released feedbacks of Scooop.net's weekly hotspots on the Internet gaming industry reflect that Americans' attitudes towards U.S. based casinos game inclined to granting the right to operate Internet casino gambling web sites. In accordance with the poll, the fact is that, 67 percent of the survey participates go in for legalization on the Internet gambling so American companies can participate in the online gaming industry.
However, the poll results are a bit dubious, since the survey is run totally by a company connected to a marketing and public relation group, and no indication or authentication of the sampling process is given. Neither are the details on the amount of people who really polled or were interviewed in the survey.
Although the questions above exist, suppose that the result of poll is reliable, it certainly approves the desires that most American Internet gamblers have had for a long while-online casino gaming web sites should be legalized by the U.S. federal government like it is in many other countries in the world.
Of those participants in the poll, 33.7 percent stated that they wouldn't really throw themselves into online casino gaming even if they did believe that U.S. government should legalized online gambling s American Internet gambling companies could compete with foreign ones in the future. 33.9 percent in proportion said that they would be bound to try it out once the issues were given legal rights.
Another focus in the poll is the security aspects of Internet gambling. It showed that most Americans were more and more concerned about the importance of safe online gaming using a U.S. based casino service. Nearly two thirds of those participated in the survey said that they would feel more secure in a U.S. based casino, since the online casinos would be ruled by U.S. law. While only 3.4 percent of those participants said that they prefer an international online casino.
From the survey, some appreciable interesting information was the common feeling from most surveyed participators-the U.S. government should legalize online casinos, while it should not be involved in the cursoriness towards the Internet gambling industry. Of those surveyed, 53.7 percent stated that, as the Internet could cross international boundaries to become border limitless, the U.S. federal government should give up the roles in ruling Internet activities by American citizens, including online gambling.
